The hotel's stunning decor and proximity to the beach made my stay enjoyable. I indulged in a delicious meat platter for dinner, though it could have benefited from more variety.

A family-friendly getaway with fab food
We spent 3 nights here and had such a good time! The Portsea Pub's food was out of this world – everything was delicious and presented so well. The cozy vibe was perfect for our little fam, and the staff were super nice. Only thing was, we could’ve used more space in the room for our toddler's stuff.

Had an awesome getaway with my friends! We explored the area by kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, both were so much fun. The location was stunning, with beautiful water views. Rooms were comfortable and cozy. The restaurant below served delicious meals!
Only downside was the carpets showing some wear and tear, which was a bummer because the rest of the place was so nice.

I recently spent a night in a cozy Queen Room, where I loved the stunning sunset views from the restaurant and the spacious garden area for relaxing strolls. There were great opportunities to unwind by the beach or enjoy some live entertainment nearby. Just a heads up, the air conditioning took a bit to fix on the first day, but overall, it was a wonderful stay! 🌅

Stunning views and comfortable rooms
I enjoyed my stay in an Executive Suite with its cozy atmosphere and breathtaking water views. The meals served at the restaurant were genuinely delicious, enhancing our experience. The only downside was the carpets showing some wear and tear, which felt out of place given the overall charm of the hotel.

Staying at Portsea was a mixed bag. The location is prime, with easy access to beautiful water views. My room size impressed me, especially for an ensuite. Everything felt clean and tidy. The tea and coffee machine in my room added a cozy touch. However, sound insulation is weak. I could hear people in the hallway and downstairs. It wasn't a bother for me, but it could disturb light sleepers. The restaurant's food needs improvement. my $54 scotch steak lacked flavor and was too tough. The burger was below average too. Only positive about the restaurant was the friendly bar staff. Despite the noisy atmosphere and mixed food quality, I had a pleasant stay, mainly due to the kind staff and decent room. I hope for improvements in cleaning and dining next time.

Charming stay with limited options
The room was spacious, and the charm of the old-fashioned decor made it feel welcoming. Enjoyed a fantastic view and the beach right at our doorstep!
However, the dining options were scarce, and we faced a long wait for dinner. It felt frustrating not being able to book a table at the hotel restaurant.
